Our Story
Sagamore Hills Animal Hospital started humble, beginning in the farmhouse basement of Dr. Hennis and his wife, Annette. We moved to our current home in 1989 and recently completed a big renovation in 2020 to ensure your pets have the best environment possible. While Dr. Hennis has stepped away from the daily hustle for health reasons, he is still our Medical Director and consultant. In 2024, we welcomed Dr. Michael Merick as our full-time vet, and he is thrilled to carry on our long-standing tradition of providing warm, top-notch care for your furry family members.
Through constant innovation and a commitment to professional growth, we have expanded our capabilities to provide state-of-the-art care while maintaining the personalized, caring touch that our clients value most.
